Google's Buzz and Wave (Rival to Twitter and Facebook)

Finally Google has come to fight Facebook and Twitter by bringing their two products: Google Buzz and Google Wave. Surprisingly these two products are too similar in features. Using both, you can update your status, share thoughts, links, images, videos and other things in real-time manner.

I agree that there are millions of netizens who are die-hard Google fans. Every time Google announces a new feature or a new product, these people are so hungry to grab that thing. Recently I have seen a community on Orkut which is dedicated for Google Wave. You can see there, the extreme eagerness and curiosity of these people for the Google Wave. Trying out new things is not bad, but it is not good to hold the same flag. There are hundreds of application and services which facilitate micro-blogging and wonderful social networking features. Some among them are so interesting that everyone should use it.

I had seen Microsoft investing enormous capital and efforts when they realize some existing product is ‘special’ to acquire the market-space. They set up each new product or technology as a rival to another outstanding product or technology in the market. They never mind it’s a copying of idea. Sorry for sudden switching of our discussion to Microsoft, but what about Google? Google is well known as the god of the web. And we don’t expect Google to follow the feet of Microsoft. Same thing was happened about Google’s Chrome. What is special in the Chrome? Chrome has been better only for Google’s services.

Personally speaking, I don't feel any special difference between these two products of Google. I don't understand what is the intention of Google behind launching these two products with almost same features. You can see what Google is doing is just copying the ideas from other social services. We expect something new or innovative things from Google, not just copy and paste.

NVIDIA vs Intel

Yeh!

NVIDIA is ready to make a BIG BANG in processor market with its new processor. And it seems that Intel will have a mighty rival in upcoming days.

This is unofficial news from NVIDIA. The company vice-president 'Michel Hara' reported that NVIDIA is about to create an x86 based processor. The processor will be available within 2-3 years. Recently NVIDIA has brought its TEGRA-650 series processors for Mobile-Internet Devices (MID). Now the question arises is that why these NVIDIAns are so interested in CPU development?

My friends, this everything is because of Intel itself. (Surprised?) Actually Intel people are talking in a language to vanish the existence of GPUs. Intel and AMD are trying to integrate the CPU and GPU and thus to remove the concept of discrete GPUs. The 'Larrabee Micro-architecture' (one of the hot topic in seminars) is the product of the same mission. Larrabee will be highly scalable and flexible to fight with NVIDIAs CUDA and TESLA technologies. Thus if NVIDIA want to keep its place safe in the market, it must move to CPU development.

As I mentioned earlier about the MIDs or Mobile-Internet-Devices, MID's are powerful, flexible and high-end portable devices. They are one step ahead of our traditional PDA-phones. If we think about tomorrow’s computer, there is no doubt that it will reside in our palms. NVIDIA has held the same thread and it has jumped into the processor development for MIDs. NVIDIAs TEGRA 650 is the core of MID. NVIDIA and Microsoft did work together for this. Now latest Windows Mobiles are featured with NVIDIA's technology.

Apart from this, it is not clear about NVIDIAs plans for current desktop and laptops. What’s next? Just wait and see what happens now...
